Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria(as on 1-12-2011),

                                  Officer MMG Scale-III - (21 years - 40 years)

         Degree from a Recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.Experience :Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in any Bank or Financial Institutions.

                                  Officer MMG Scale-II - (21 years - 32 years)

          For Officer MMG Scale-II – IT Officer(24 Posts) - Degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication /computer Science/ Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc. Experience : One Year.

          For Officer MMG Scale-II – Law Officer(01 Post) - Degree from a Recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.Experience : Two years.

          For Officer MMG Scale-II – Marketing Officer(02 Posts) - MBA in Marketing and Experience of One year.

          For Officer MMG Scale-II – Agriculture Officer(17 Posts) - Degree from a recognized University in any of Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture or its equivalent, with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Experience : Two years.

          For Officer MMG Scale-II – Treasury Manager(01 Post) - Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance with Experience of one year.

          For Officer MMG Scale-II – General Banking Officer (14 Posts) - Degree from a Recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience : Two years.

                                   Officer JMG Scale-I - (18 years - 28 years)( No Experience required).

           Bachelor degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent

           Proficiency in Local Language.

          Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification

     Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - (18 years - 28 years)( No Experience required )

           Bachelor degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent

           Proficiency in Local Language.

          Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of written test and interview. Written test will be of Objective Type Consisiting of :-

                                  For Post Codes 01 and 02 (Officer Scale I & Office Assistant) :-

Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General awareness, and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 mins for 200 questions.

 

                                     For Post Codes 03 to 09 (Officer Scale- II & III) :-

Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, Financial Awarenes and Genaral english. Each part having 50 questions and a total time of 150 mins for 200 questions.

Note:-

There will be negative Marking for wrong answers.

The candidates securing a minimum of 40% marks(35% for SC/ST/XS/PC) in the written test shall qualify for interview in ratio of 1:3 depending upon number of Vacancies.

                                            Application Procedure

The fee for this Application is Rs.50 for SC/ST (For all posts) while for GEN/OBC - It's Rs. 250 for Office Assistants (Post - I) and Rs. 400 for Officers (Post code - 2 to 9).

To be paid at any United Bank of India or Assam Gramin Vikash Bank branch before Jan 10,2012 by below challans.

After payment, the online application has to be made at Bank website and details has to be filled & submitted properly. The candidate needs to carry the original challan and a recent passport size photograph along with the call letter for written exam which can be downloaded from bank website on the below mentioned dates.

For Office Assistants : From 30-01-2012 to 10-02-2012
